I do like the Aero quick-disconnect sling mount capability: I'm waffling between the Odin Works and Aero handguards. I have no great plans for any attachments other than maybe a flashlight or bipod later. Perhaps a 15" guard with top picatinny and otherwise empty would be the best compromise. But I like the lighter 12" answer as well. but now I know that I can go 12" to 15" with no problem and that's great to know! I like a longer handguard for a longer sight radius, since I'm starting out with some Troy Industries flip-up battle sights. you guys are AWESOME! All the info and pix that you all provided is perfect!
